The Spider
This is the newest development built by the company Arcadia.
'The Spider' is a 180-degree live stage which stands 15 meters high and 25 meters wide and is designed to entertain up to 7000 people.
Built entirely from salvage materials recycled from around the UK it was constructed to look like a giant spider.
As you can see in the picture it has three huge 'legs' to create the 'Spider' shape, these were once part of a 44 ton machine originally used to x-ray frieght.
Just recently it was seen at Glastonbury, the 3 legged creature with a retracting roof created an enviroment which would blow the lid of any conventional stage ever built.
Below is a link to Arcadia's web site showing the stage with its amazing lights, fire and dancers in action.
